OC Members
participated in what is known as the largest Martin Luther King
March in the nation on Martin Luther King Day. The day had
temperatures in the low 30's, but we still had a very good turn
out of members. We marched 3 miles on MLK Drive, in honor of Dr.
Martin Luther King Jr.
Because of the
weather, only about 15,000 marched, out of the usual estimate of
100, 000 people every year. But the march still continued on
through the cold that still was an amazing sight to see many
people. |
